About IC support:
Luminaires suitable for RGB 3-channel or RGBW 4-channel single-line ICs (4-channel) currently support 1903 common protocol compatibility, such as SK6812 or TM1814.
Conventional wiring: the GND of the lamp is connected to the GND port of the controller, the DAT is connected to the DAT port of the controller, and the positive and negative poles of the lamp are connected to the positive and negative poles of the power supply.
Resumable transmission: Generally, the lamp has a signal line (resumable transmission line) and GND cable connection controller GND port, and the lamp has a DAT cable connection controller DAT end mouth. The positive and negative poles of the lamp are connected to the positive and negative poles of the power supply. (Some IC backup signal cables are connected to the controller DAT along with the DAT cable, and this should be consulted with the strip supply.)
The working voltage of the T4K LED controller is low-voltage DV5V-24V and cannot be directly connected to 220V high-voltage.
Generally, LED magic strip lights use a low-voltage power supply; the power supply voltage is between DC5V and DC24V, and the matching of the power supply should be consistent with the actual specifications of the lamp.
This T4K LED controller has a 4-channel SPI signal output and can control up to 4096 pixel single-wire SPI pixel light ICs, like 1903, 2811, 16703, etc. With the free pattern-making software LEDmaigc, based on LEDEdit and Samsung's method, up to 100 mode files can be copied to an SD card simultaneously. You can choose which mode to run or auto-turn them one by one to play all modes. The playing speed can be adjusted.
Note: Brightness cannot be adjusted on T4K LED controller; you can only adjust brightness once when you output the program file on the controller!
If your files are too large and you cannot copy them to the SD card in the package, you should use your SD card and format them to FAT or FAT32. The largest volume is 2G.
I think I was a little ambitious in ordering this item. I don’t really know much about wiring or LEDs, except that I like the way they look. I got this to wire a bunch of strips together, and I think I need to do a bit more research on what I am doing because so far I have struggled to get the lights to work at all. That’s not to say the controller is bad; it is well-built and of good quality, just a little too technical for me.
