K8 ARTNET + DMX Console LED Controller

The K16 LED Controller is a professional multi-protocol lighting control system designed for SPI and DMX512 LED installations. It supports offline playback, DMX console integration, and Art-Net network control with reliable synchronization across multiple units.

Wiring & Connection Guide

Proper wiring ensures stable and accurate operation:

• Power & Ground Connection:
  Connect GND of LED lamps to GND of the controller
• SPI Signal Connection:
  • LED DAT → Controller DAT
• DMX512 Signal Connection:
  • A → D+ of controller
  • B → D− of controller
• Controller Synchronization (Cascading):
  Connect multiple controllers via a network cable for synchronized operation
• Network Series Connection:
  • ARTNET NET OUT (Controller 1) → ARTNET NET IN (Controller 2) → continue chain
• Parallel Connection Options:
  • Use DMX512 IN (network port)
  • Or standard XLR interfaces

Offline Operation Mode

Standalone playback without a computer:

1. Insert SD card into the controller
2. Power ON controller and LED fixtures
3. Display shows S-XX (speed mode):
   • S-00: Slowest playback
   • S-99: Fastest playback
   • Adjust using Speed + / Speed − buttons
4. Press SET to select IC type (SPI / DMX512 supported)
5. Press MODE to select program:
   • Programs range from P-01 to P-96
   • A-01: 96-program loop mode

DMX512 Console Control Mode

Integration with professional lighting consoles:

1. Insert SD card
2. Connect controller via DMX512 or XLR interface
3. Power ON system
4. Display shows d001 (starting address)

DMX Channel Functions (6 Channels Total):

• Channel 1: Program selection
• Channel 2: Speed control
• Channel 3: Brightness
• Channels 4–6: Red / Green / Blue control

Multi-Controller Setup:

• Series connection: configure only the first controller
• Parallel connection: assign addresses in intervals of 6 (e.g., d001, d007, d013…)

Online (Art-Net) Operation

Control via computer and network:

1. Connect PC to ARTNET NET IN of the first controller
2. Configure network settings manually:
   • Set a unique IP address (avoid conflicts)
3. Adjust controller parameters (first unit only)
4. System supports real-time control via compatible software
